Mantises Have Hatched

Sunday morning, June 19. It took almost 10 weeks for the egg case to hatch. Click on photos to enlarge and see detail.


There are many, many little mantises.



I let most of them go in the community garden.






I am taking about a dozen home for our backyard.

    Thanks They are now 3 times the size they were in these pics and it's only been 4 days or so.
